Preferred placement is arms or legs. Most of the common designs are vertical format meant for the limbs. Unless a larger tattoo is desired such as ribs, stomach, back, . These areas are considered but are usually more time consuming, more painful and less visible than the "full sleeve" arm or leg projects Trent is usually working on..  Please mention the placement and size you are considering during your consult.

As with many artists, a certain passion exists for the work they love to do. Although we understand that meaning for some clients is a must, Trent’s always aspires to blend beauty with subject matter so that the tattoo work needs no introduction. Trent will take inspiration from the nature, animals, flowers etc.,. The human form such as female faces, skulls, or even statues from the renaissance era and artistic creativity using his signature elements to spark inspiration. All designs are done by Trent himself on his ipad using a software called ProCreate.. We can message each other via my instagram (@TRENTVALLEAU) or via email. Please send emails ONLY to TrentsTattoos@gmail.com - send info about what ideas you have and photo references, also a reminder about where on the body you prefer. Please specify if you're open to the artists interpretation or if you want the tattoo to be very close to your exact reference. It’s always enjoyable to have some freedom on a custom design. We want to do the best work possible so being open minded about design fit and form to the body is important.

Large-scale projects like sleeves, back pieces, and rib or thigh work are always welcome. Every big piece is custom, and the number of sessions varies depending on the design and your schedule. Most clients complete larger projects over the span of a few months some take a year or two and enjoy the process along the way. During your free consultation, we'll map out a general plan during the consult so you know what to expect for a large project.

The most common type of tattoo for Trent.  Where you start and complete the piece in one session. A piece usually the size of a 5"x"8" area of skin can usually be completed in the standard session. The standard session is from 6-8 hours. Forearms are the preferred area for single session tattoos. Some pieces may require two days in a row depending on size and complexity of the design.

Half day sessions are also possible this is usually around 4X4 inches or slightly larger. This option for a half day becomes the most cost effective and lower pain solution as it only around 3 hours typically.

Pain management is part of the process, and there are good options to keep you comfortable. Topical numbing agents like lidocaine are commonly used during longer sessions, and products like Bactine can help as work progresses. Please don't apply any numbing products on your own beforehand. The timing and application matter, and I'll handle all of that for you. Make sure you eat a good meal before we start and bring snacks or drinks to keep your blood sugar high. Beyond that, taking breaks and pacing the session goes a long way. You're in good hands.
